We provide education on various primary sources in the field of Korean language and literature, as well as various methodologies for interpreting the data. Through this education, we ultimately reach the goal of nurturing competent talents who can contribute to the development of Korean language and literature.
In addition, the educational goal is to meet the national demand for nurturing human resources suitable for the information and globalization era and the local community's demand for nurturing human resources who will contribute to the development of local culture and Korean language education.

Aims of Education

Our department aims to train competent researchers in the fields of Korean language and literature. Therefore, our department focuses its education on cultivating not only the ability to analyze and organize various materials in the field of Korean language and literature, but also the ability to independently solve various problems encountered during the research process.

Future Career

After obtaining a degree, you can work as an instructor in various classes, including Korean language and literature major courses and writing courses, and as a researcher at a research institute.
